Who we are

Roundabout Fitness, LLC was founded in September 2024 by owner and head coach Emily (pictured on the left!). Emily is a Certified Nutrition Coach, a Certified Personal Trainer, and a Certified Kickboxing, Spinning, and Group Fitness instructor. After years of feeling stuck and drained, Emily experienced a life-changing transformation through the support of a nutrition coach and personal trainer. With their guidance, she achieved goals she once thought were out of reach. Inspired by that journey, Emily launched Roundabout Fitness to help others experience the same breakthrough. Her passion lies in empowering clients to reach their fitness and nutrition goals through personalized coaching plans tailored to fit their unique lives, needs, and aspirations.

Valerie (pictured on the right) is an International Coach Federation (ICF) certified Mindset Coach and an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified Health Coach. She joined Roundabout Fitness in January 2025 as an assistant coach, specializing in mental health and mindset — areas that have been central to her own journey of inner growth and physical health challenges. For years, Valerie grappled with self-doubt and a persistent inner critic, haunted by questions like, “Am I good enough?”, “What if I’m not cut out for this?”, and “How do I prove my worth?” Over time, she came to recognize these struggles as rooted in perfectionism and people-pleasing. With the support of Registered Dietitians, therapists, and gut health specialists, Valerie learned to reconnect with her body in a more compassionate and intuitive way. This mindset shift became a powerful turning point in her life — one she’s passionate about helping others experience through coaching.
